Since an early age I have had a passion for art colors and design; on the right is classic photo of me working, on sort or a working vacation I guess. I am on an ocean liner coloring in 1955 under the watchful eye of my first art instructor, my dearest mother.
Along life's way I learned to color in between the lines if I want and compiled a collection of A.A. degrees: Liberal Arts, Television Production, Business Management, Sales and Marketing. I have also kept my education current by taking graphics related classes in Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, Illustrator, PageMaker, Dreamweaver, and Flash, as well as others.
Although ABD has always been a part-time ambition, before starting ABD, I made my living fulltime doing art and design work in the Southern California Film Industry. I put together a gallery using some photographs taken from movie sets and locations and the covers from videos of some films that I worked on.
Since leaving the Southern California film industry most of my design work has been for Ragged Point Inn and Resort. The next gallery is an assortment of advertising and identity graphics most of the work displayed in the graphics gallery was produced for Ragged Point.
A picture tells a thousand words; I also have a very nice print graphics portfolio at home that I would be glad to share with anyone interested. The portfolio includes advertisements, posters, logos, and stationary, as well as more complex projects like informational and instructional booklets.
