This photo was taken during the process of covering the outside of the Giant Clam sculpture with real clam shells from Pismo Beach clams. Don Smith worked on these Giant Clam Shell Sculptures that were a team project produced for and under the direction of world famous artist designer, Vito Acconci of New York City.
